Permanent Teeth Whitening (Bleaching)
Permanent teeth whitening is a method applied to lighten the color of teeth that have changed and turned into more yellowish color for various reasons. It is applied to remove the discoloration that occurs in the structure of the teeth (enamel and dentin layer).
Healthy and white teeth are important for a beautiful smile. However, structural defects that occur during the formation of teeth, some antibiotics used as a child or in the womb, what we eat and drink, and the amount of fluoride in the water can discolor our teeth. In addition to these, old age, old dentures, veneers and fillings are also effective in the loss of whiteness of the teeth.
Teeth lose their whiteness as a result of the colored organic and inorganic substances accumulating in the porous enamel structure on the surface of the teeth over the years, due to the effects of tea, coffee, cigarettes we eat, all beverages containing colorants, cherry juices, red wines, and pomegranate juices.
Instead of doing veneer crowns on darkened or yellowed teeth, a permanent teeth whitening method, also called bleaching, is applied to end of this process, the teeth are opened up to eight to ten tons depending on their condition.
