Frenectomy
The frenulum is the soft tissue between the gingiva and the cheek. When the frenulum is positioned in higher than its normal position or being thicker causes gap formation (known as diastema) between the teeth, gingival recession, and also affects the success of the prosthesis. In addition, the presence of large tongue frenulum negatively affects speech.
Frenectomy Treatment:
Removing the tissue from there with simple surgical procedures called frenectomy will prevent these problems.
